Rubik Yeriazarian, CPA, CFE, CFF  
TXCPA Houston 2019-2020 Stan and Margaret Voelkel Award for Education Recipient

Rubik offers remarkable insight during CPAs Helping Schools (CHS) grant application reviews and accounting career education events; he is a driving force on the annual Topgolf Fall Fundraiser and silent auction of the Scholarship Extravaganza. Rubik’s thoughtful ideas and concerns are considered by members and he is instrumental in other subcommittees, such as the new Foundations and Corporate Grants Research of CHS.

Rubik volunteers time to present accounting career information at Future Business Leaders of America workshops and conferences throughout the year and encourages other members to volunteer as judges or guest speakers. He coordinates an annual training date with Bellaire High School to demonstrate Excel usage to business class students.

Rubik began teaching a January Excel class to members of the Student Auxiliary in 2018 and continues in this project by providing additional instructors as needed – this program has become a favorite of the student members and others in need of training or a refresher.

CPAs Helping Schools, a passion of Stan and Margaret Voelkel, would not be where it is today without the relentless and passionate support of Rubik Yeriazarian.
