Internet Research System Available in Society Library

The Houston Society Membership Committee recently entered into an agreement with Research Institute of America (RIA) to make its online research service - Checkpoint - available to Society members via the Internet. Members may contact Sandi Gunn at the Society office (713.622.7733 x10; sgunn@houstoncpa.org) to schedule computer time on the PC located in the Society's library. Access to the online service is available only at the Society office. Members are asked to limit their research time to a maximum of two hours. If time is available following the initial two hours, continued access will be allowed.

Checkpoint is a complete online tax research service containing both state and federal tax information databases. Easy to navigate, the search function can be as general or as specific as necessary. Print out your forms and instruction sheets for only $.15 per page.
